Weekly News Update

  • In case you missed it: More great work by Susan Lewis to get media coverage of our summer youth camp! It's a great article and nicely captures the success and excitement the camp generated. Shout out to Letritia Flerchinger, Libby Hartman, May Nicholson & Bernie Sorenson for the outstanding contributions to the success of the camp called out in the article.
  • It's not too late to register for the Blue Hole Bash! There are still spaces available for Womens Doubles 3.0 (any age) on Friday, and Mens Doubles 3.0 (any age) on Sunday. Contact Cathy Lake at pickleballisgreat.lake@gmail.com if you are interested! We couldn't run tournaments like this without our sponsors or our many volunteers. Check in with anyone on our Tournament Committee if you are interested in lending a hand.

  • Susie Lewis, our Publicity Chair, is excited to invite our members who are aspiring op-ed and essay writers to contribute to our monthly feature, “The Monthly Slice – Musings from the Sequim Picklers Club.” We would love to hear from someone who regularly participates in out-of-town tournaments and can share their experience, and we welcome other topic ideas as well! Columns should be between 500 and 700 words. If you're interested, please reach out to  Susie Lewis at slewisleech@gmail.com with your proposed topic and the month you'd like to write for. We look forward to your great ideas!
