SEQUIM PICKLERS

Staying Safe on the Pickleball Court

Pickleball is all about fun, friendship, and staying active — and keeping our courts safe helps everyone enjoy the game even more. A few simple precautions, like warming up, watching your step, and looking out for fellow players, go a long way toward preventing injuries.

We’re also proud to share that our court shed is equipped with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). While we hope it’s never needed, having an AED close by means we’re prepared for emergencies and can respond quickly if someone experiences sudden cardiac arrest.

Recently, we held an AED training session right at the courts, and we were thrilled to have 12 players attend. If you weren’t able to make it but would like to learn how to use the AED, please reach out to Lettie — she’ll be happy to help connect you with the next opportunity.
